The Damage Feral Hogs Leave Behind
Feral hogs can cause severe damage to property in a very short period of time. What begins as minor rooting can quickly escalate into widespread destruction across lawns, landscaped areas, drainage corridors, trails, and open land.
Hogs feed by rooting beneath the soil surface, tearing up grass and vegetation while searching for food. A single group of hogs can destroy large areas overnight.
Common areas impacted include landscaped common areas, drainage easements, trails and walking paths, open fields and greenbelts, irrigation lines and turf systems, and areas bordering wooded corridors.
Early intervention is the most effective way to prevent widespread damage.
